Lydia is sleeping, Frankie is observing a prof teach and I just finished some wrapping. It’s crazy that Christmas is 14 days away! We have most of our shopping done (it’s very limited anyway). I just realized this week that I love Christmas shopping and wrapping presents! We don’t have a tree put up in our apartment so I’ve stacked gifts on a chestof drawers that I have in the living room area. I must say, I love it! I’m eager for Lydia to be old enough to look forward to Christmas morning.
Back again
Well, December has arrived and we are definitely getting in the Christmas spirit. I decorated our apartment with lights and bulbs, even though we have no tree here. Lydia loves the lights though!
Frankie has completed his seminars! He still has a long way to go, with comprehensives and the dissertation, but this phase is complete at least.
Lydia is ONE. She is growing so quickly! She had three birthday parties and enjoyed them all. She is eating much better… she loves green beans, beets, peas, cheese and bagels. She is drinking about 10 oz of whole milk each day, as well as nursing still. Her vocabulary is pretty good… she says (and understands): mama, daddy, dog, daisy, bye bye, hello, hi, hey, easy (when rubbing an animal).
